The Elytron has a pure offensive profile, specializing in massive bombardment and destruction-based control.
Where one might expect a fragile Archwing in exchange for its DPS, the Elytron actually has good survivability.
It's not a support like the Amesha, but it's also not a glass cannon.
It takes damage reasonably well while it rains down destruction on the area.
